Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Ambirama service. Please read them carefully: by creating an account you accept them in full.
This is a courtesy translation. The Italian version is the authoritative one.
1. Who we are
The service is provided by Consonant S.r.l., registered office at Corso SS. Felice e Fortunato, 62 - 36100 Vicenza (VI), VAT no. IT04146270246, tax code 04146270246, entered in the Companies Register under REA no. VI-382666, share capital 10.000,00 EUR i.v. ("we", "the Provider").
Contact: privacy@ambirama.com — certified e-mail consonant@pec.it.
2. The service
Ambirama is a software-as-a-service platform for creating, managing and publishing 360° virtual tours, enriching them with hotspots, floor plans and media, sharing them through a public link or embedding them in third-party sites and — on plans that include it — reviewing their usage statistics.
The service is offered both to businesses and professionals and to consumers. Clauses marked as applying to consumers apply only to natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
3. Accounts
To use the service you must create an account with true, complete and current information. Your account is personal: you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done through them. Tell us promptly at privacy@ambirama.com about any unauthorised access.
The minimum age to register is 18.
An organization may have several users with different roles. Anyone holding the organization administrator role can invite, remove and modify other users and acts on behalf of the organization.
4. Plans, free trial and fees
The service is offered in different plans, whose contents and limits are shown on the pricing page at the time of subscription.
- A 14-day free trial is available. At the end of it, unless a paid plan is activated, the organization continues with the available free functionality.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically on expiry, at the chosen frequency (monthly or annual), unless cancelled.
- A self-host export is also available as a one-off purchase per project, providing an archive of the tour that can be run on your own infrastructure.
Prices are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Payments and invoicing
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details do not pass through our systems.
The accounting documents available inside the platform are informational and for reconciliation purposes: tax documents are issued separately through the Sistema di Interscambio, in accordance with Italian electronic invoicing rules. You must keep your VAT number, tax code and recipient code or certified e-mail address up to date.
If a payment fails, the payment provider will retry. After the applicable grace period the subscription may be suspended; access remains available during that period. Suspension does not delete your content.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: the service remains fully available until then, and there is no pro-rata refund of the current period, without prejudice to section 7.
7. Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason, under Articles 52 ff. of the Italian Consumer Code.
To exercise it, simply tell us at privacy@ambirama.com: no particular form is required and you need not wait for any automated process. Refunds are made without undue delay using the same payment method.
Self-host export. The self-host export is made available immediately after payment, but your right of withdrawal remains fully intact for the whole 14-day period: we do not ask you to waive it. If you withdraw, we refund the full amount; we ask that you stop using any archive already downloaded and delete your copies of it.
Outside the withdrawal cases above, if your circumstances are unusual you can still write to privacy@ambirama.com: we will consider any request in good faith.
8. Customer content
Content you upload remains entirely your property. We claim no intellectual property rights over images, floor plans, text or other materials you upload.
You grant us a non-exclusive, revocable licence, limited to the duration of the relationship, to host, store, reproduce, technically adapt and display that content only so far as necessary to deliver the service — for example to generate thumbnails, resize images, show a tour to visitors or produce an export archive. The licence does not permit us to use your content for promotional purposes without a separate agreement.
You warrant that you hold all necessary rights in the content you upload and that it infringes no third-party rights or legal provisions, with particular regard to the protection of the personal data of any people depicted.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to distribute unlawful, defamatory or infringing content; attempt to access areas or data you are not authorised to; interfere with the platform's operation or subject it to artificial load; circumvent the limits of your plan; or resell the service to third parties without authorisation.
In the event of a serious breach we may suspend the account, notifying you promptly unless legally prevented from doing so.
10. Service availability
We work to keep the service as continuously available as possible, without committing contractually to any availability level. The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control. Where practicable, planned work is announced in advance.
The service may evolve over time. If a change substantially reduces essential functionality of a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice and you may cancel without penalty.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the twelve months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data not attributable to our fault.
Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor any mandatory rights granted to consumers by law, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
We recommend keeping your own copy of uploaded content: the service is not a substitute for a backup system.
12. Duration and termination
The contract remains in force until cancelled or until the account ends.
When a subscription ends, published tours stop being accessible. Your content remains available to you for the period stated in the Privacy Policy, after which it may be deleted. Deleting an individual user account does not delete the organization or its projects, which belong to the organization.
13. Processing of visitor data (Article 28 GDPR)
When you publish a tour, the data collected within it is processed by us on your behalf. You are the controller and we are the processor. This clause constitutes the agreement required by Article 28 GDPR.
- Subject matter and duration. Provision of the Ambirama service, for the duration of the contract.
- Nature and purpose. Storing and publishing tour content; collecting aggregate usage statistics.
- Types of data. Random non-persistent session identifier, device category, referring host name, language, scenes and hotspots viewed, dwell times. We do not process visitors' IP addresses for statistical purposes, nor any persistent identifier. Personal data contained in materials you upload also falls under this clause.
- Categories of data subject. Visitors to published tours.
- Instructions. We process data only on your documented instructions, constituted by these Terms and the settings you configure in the platform.
- Confidentiality. Authorised personnel are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
- Security. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate under Article 32 GDPR, including encryption in transit, separation of roles, access limited to what is needed, and session tokens inaccessible to page code.
- Sub-processors. We use the suppliers listed in the Privacy Policy, bound by equivalent obligations. We will inform you in advance of any change so that you may object on legitimate grounds.
- Assistance. We will reasonably assist you in responding to data subject requests, in impact assessments and in handling data breaches, which will be notified to you without undue delay.
- Return and deletion. At the end of the relationship, data is deleted or returned, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Audits. We will make available the information needed to demonstrate compliance with these obligations and allow for agreed audits.
If you embed a tour in a third-party site, it remains your responsibility to give visitors the appropriate notice and to collect any consent required by the tools present on that site.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for technical, regulatory or service-evolution reasons. Substantial changes are notified to registered users at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after that period constitutes acceptance; otherwise you may cancel at no cost.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law.
For disputes with business customers, the Foro di Vicenza has exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, the court of the place where you reside or have elected domicile remains competent, and you may use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
16. Final provisions
If any clause is held invalid, the remainder stays in force. Failure to act on a breach is not a waiver. You may not assign the contract without our written consent.
